Enjoy A Night At McGonigel's Mucky Duck Pub
Just fifteen miles from Alexan Enclave is one of the city's premier spots for Celtic, blues, country, and Texas folk music.
It's called McGonigel's Mucky Duck Pub, and this popular Irish eatery is also known as one of the "Top 20 Acoustic Venues" in the United States.
Guests often meet friends here and they enjoy the pub's cozy environment that is complete with English and Irish decorations to enhance the ambiance.
The full menu is available from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m, after which a limited menu is offered until closing. Start off with the black bean queso that's served with fresh fried tortilla chips before enjoying a satisfying meal such as Shepherd's Pie, Fish & Chips, and Beef Guinness.
The Mulligan Brothers (April 6, 7:00 p.m.) - The Mulligan Brothers is an American folk-rock band that hails from Mobile, Alabama. The band represents a second chance for each member (mulligan means "second chance" in golfer's terms), and one of the tunes they will play is their latest single "Divine Design."
Buenos Diaz (April 6, 9:30 p.m.) - Guitar Player Magazine states that guitarist Nick Diaz "is a musical chameleon who negotiates his cinematic shifts and twists with passion and purpose." Nick's impressive act features a mix of Americana, electro pop, and bluesy hook filled rock, and his performance is not to be missed.
Southern Avenue (April 7, 9:30 p.m.) - According to the Memphis Flyer, "Southern Avenue is simply the best band in Memphis." The group features three males and two females who come from diverse musical and personal backgrounds to create music that covers their wide-ranging musical interests.
