Enjoy Brunch Near Alexan Enclave
This weekend, make one day a "brunch day" near your Alexan Enclave apartment. Relax and enjoy a leisurely morning meal away from the stress and grind of everyday life. Here are a few great brunch spots for you to try.
Pecan Creek Grille
1510 Eldridge Parkway #100, Houston
The Pecan Creek Grille is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and brunch. Owned by Brock and Stacey Silverstein, the Grille offers the breakfast menu from early morning until closing at 2pm. Besides regular seating, there’s also a private dining room, available for special events and meetings.
They offer daily specials here, with a variety of breakfast tacos. Scrambles, omelets, pancakes and grits fill up the menu. Try the Shrimp and Grits with Pecan smoked peppered bacon, onions, tomato, lemon and shrimp all sautéed together covering a generous bowl of signature jalapeno cheese grits and a slice of Texas toast on the side – it doesn’t get any better than this!
15455 Memorial Drive, Houston
Café Benedict is open for brunch on weekends, with lunch and dinner also offered all week long – and it is well worth the wait until Saturday or Sunday to feast on their brunch. Once you’ve tried it, you may just want to join the Rewards Program before you return.
You can guess what we recommend on the menu here – Eggs Benedict, Surf and Turf Benedict, and Tempura Benedict! Yum! But, also the Chicken Stuffed Crepes are delicious! There’s lots more to try, such as Tortas de Patatas, Meat Lover Muffins, and French Toast made with Hawaiian Bread.
Urban American Kitchen
14008 Memorial Drive, Suite F, Houston
Brunch is also available on Saturdays and Sundays at Urban American Kitchen. Under the direction of Chef Jose Garcia, Urban American Kitchen offers New American cuisine with something for anyone’s palate. During the week, this restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
The brunch menu includes biscuits and gravy, huevos rancheros, steak and eggs, and a variety of omelets. Try the Farmhouse Casserole, which is an egg casserole complete with roasted red potatoes, breakfast sausage, sautéed peppers and onion, spicy tomatillo salsa, creamy avocado and cheddar cheese topped with a fried egg!
